We will provide you with practical professional training to help you understand procurement and how to undertake any procurement exercise from end to end.

This course is our most popular course for people with no previous experience in procurement and will help you to get a procurement job. We advise you to start with this course first before joining our CIPS accredited program from Level 4. Once you have completed this course 5 days course you will be able to apply for procurement job and perform well with the tools we will give.

Basic Contract Law £199

Course Description ( 1 day)

Learners will explore key aspects of contract law to understand what constitutes a contract.

Target Audience

This Foundation course is aimed at procurement officers who are involved in supplier contracts and need basic understanding of contract law.

On completion Learners will be able to:

  • Understand legal issues relating to formation of a contract, its basic structure and constituent elements.

Course Duration

This is a half day course.

Course Description

This awareness course runs for 1/2 day and introduces the learner to the Social Value Act and its implementation in procurement across the public sector.

Target Audience

This half day course is aimed at all delivery team members who are involved in sustainable procurement.

Learners explore what is involved in good tender evaluation and award, and discuss compliance with the Procurement Act 2023. They work through the tender evaluation process and understand the components of the evaluation model.
